People journeying through the RCIA process need sponsors and community support to help them grow in faith. The RCIA team of sponsors help guide, support and instruct those discerning whether to become members of our Catholic community. Team members share their faith with inquiring adults who are seeking more information about the Catholic Church, many of whom seek to celebrate one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation: Baptism, Eucharist and Confirmation. Contact Leslie Tibbitt at (843) 522-9555 or email parishassistant@stpetersbeaufort.org.
Small groups create environments where friendship and God’s Word serve as catalysts for deeper conversion. The goal of a small group is to draw adults into a transformative friendship with Jesus and one another through God’s Word. People gather regularly to share life and faith with one another, reflect on God’s Word, and pray for and with one another. To hear more about small groups contact Nancy Compton, evangelization@stpetersbeaufort.org.
St. Peter’s Young Adult Ministry aims to connect young adults to the Church and her mission. We welcome any young adults within the ages of 18-35 who are single, married, or married with children looking to grow in relationship with Christ and strive for holiness. We gather in one another’s homes to build our community in formation and fellowship.
Please join us! We would love to have you! Email our youth minister at youth@stpetersbeaufort.org for more info and gathering times.
That Man is You is arguably one of the most successful men’s programs operating in the Catholic Church today. It is an interactive program focused on the development of male leadership in the modern world. It combines the best research from science with the teaching of the Catholic faith and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of authentic men capable of transforming themselves, their families and greater society. https://paradisusdei.org/that-man-is-you/ To hear more about TMiY at St. Peter’s or to join the men, check the bulletin or reach out to Chris Pangle, 743-545-3492.
